Kelly Hoppen exclusively shares her tips for styling small bathrooms that will work on even the smallest budget.We interviewed the interior designer as part of her collaboration with luxury home and hospitality accessories retailer SV Casa.
Coming up with small bathroom ideas that feel luxurious and relaxing certainly presents some challenges.The taupe queen tells us that when you’re nervous about size and spending money, it’s all about creating a clear focal point.
“The best thing I can recommend is to keep the room as simple as possible with low-level lighting and make the shower or tub a central feature,” advises Kelly Hoppen.’Downlights and patterns are a big no-no because they reduce space – remember, simplicity is key.
“Mirrors are also great additions that open up a room and create the illusion of a larger room,” says Kelly.If you want to add a touch of luxury, interior design gurus recommend investing in some high-quality gadgets.
